Dr. Kirk Tiemann
Dr. Kirk Tiemann considers Lubbock home after growing up in El Paso, TX. While he was born in Kansas City, Missouri, he moved to El Paso at an early age. He attended the University of Texas at El Paso and earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry-Environmental Science & Engineering. After working in the area of research, Dr. Tiemann made a decision to attend medical school after studying the effects of environmental conditions and human health.
Dr. Tiemann attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. He specialized in Family Practice and went on to pursue additional training, completing a Fellowship in Sports Medicine. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Tiemann worked for UMC Physicians, Grace Medical Center, and Concentra Urgent Care before venturing into private practice.
Dr. Tiemann believes in educating patients about their condition so that patients may better understand how to best care for themselves and to also improve medical outcomes.
Dr. Tiemann is married and has two sons, all of whom are active in local organizations and charities. He is active in ranching, farming, agriculture, and enjoys traveling as well as outdoor life!
Angela Escalante, FNP-C
A Lubbock native, Angela has returned to her West Texas roots.
Angela began her career in healthcare at an early age. With a strong work ethic she learned from her parents, she worked her way through school, ultimately earning a Master of Science in Nursing and a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner designation in 2005.
Over the last 25 years, Angela has developed a diverse skill set in medicine with experience in pediatric & adult orthopedics, family medicine and women’s health. This clinical expertise, paired with her warm demeanor & compassion for her patients, sets her apart.
Angela and her husband enjoy spending time with her three children and her grandchildren. Her interests also include traveling, cycling, and she is an AVID sports fan!
Geeta Patel, FNP-C
Following several years of travel as a Registered Nurse, Geeta returned to Lubbock as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on family medicine. Geeta calls Lubbock home but was raised in Brownfield, TX. Despite being new to the field, Geeta has over seven years of bedside experience in neurology, orthopedics, cardiology, pulmonary, geriatrics and palliative care.
Geeta earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Houston Christian University. Geeta opted to return to school following her grandmother's death and realizing her true calling was helping others as a clinician.
Geeta loves spending time with her family, which includes two wonderful dogs and a bearded dragon! She loves to travel and never says no to a new adventure. Geeta's faith is an important part of her life and plays a role in her treatment of patients.
